How To Maintain Your Toyota
Drive Time
Purchasing a Toyota is always an exciting time, so keep up with driving it since vehicles are best kept up with daily driving. If you plan to leave your Toyota without driving for some time, you will need to take it for a 20 minutes minimum drive once a week. By driving it weekly, you will make sure that the engine’s oil circulates through internal components to prevent rust, charge up the battery, and avoid having flat spots developing on your tires.
Exterior Protection
There are many ways to prevent exterior damage, but most importantly is preventive maintenance. You will want to consider washing your Toyota regularly, then invest in quality wax and sealant to protect the paint. It could be a great idea for customers who park their vehicles exclusively outside in the elements to purchase a car cover.
Brakes & Tires
Other important maintenance items to keep up with are your vehicle’s brakes and tires. Tires are the only point of contact between your vehicle and the road, while brakes are your only way to stop the vehicle from moving. Having good tires will ensure proper traction and stopping, but you also need good brakes to maintain maximum braking performance.
