4x2 Review
There are two versions of the 4x2. Toyota makes a 4x2 Double Cab SR and the 4x2 Double Cab SR Long Bed. The Toyota Tundra 4x2 Cab SR has a small wheelbase, and the Long Bed variation has a large wheelbase. Both versions of this trim come equipped with a V6, a ten-speed automatic transmission, and a multilink suspension system. Both variations have adequate offerings if you're looking for good safety features. With the SR or the SR Long Bed, you'll get exceptional safety features like driver and passenger airbags and side curtain airbags. Both variations have advanced systems, powered by Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. This suite of safety features includes Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System, Sway Warning System, and more. As for entertainment, SiriusXM radio, an HD radio, and other premium features like Drive Connect are standard for both trim variations. Drive Connect requires a paid subscription.
4x4 Double Cab Review
There are three versions of the 4x4 Double Cab, and they're not all identical. The Tundra 4x4 Double Cab is the primary option. You can buy it with the SR5 Package, the SR5 TRD Package, or the SR5 TRD Off-Road Package. Each optional package adds extra features like Hill Start Assist and fog lamps, but a 4x4 Double Cab has a lot to offer without the upgrades. For example, for safety features, the 4x4 Double Cab SR and the Double Cab Long Bed are on an even playing field, but the Limited Edition gives you more. The Limited Edition is the only variation that includes a Blind Spot Monitoring System and Parking Assist with Automatic Braking. All three versions of a Double Cab include the staples. However, the Limited edition is the leader of the pack. With a standard Double Cab or a Double Cab SR5 Long Bed, you'll get power door locks, a 12-volt power outlet, a smart key system, a push-button ignition, and a tailgate, but you won't get a tailgate release bump switch or a wireless charging system. These features are only available for the 4x4 Double Cab Limited. As for the cabin layout, each trim can seat five passengers. Cloth seats are standard for the 4x4 Double Cab and the 4x4 SR5 Long Bed, but the 4x4 Double Cab Limited has heated and ventilated front seats.
4x4 Crewmax Review
The 4x4 Crewmax has six variations, such as 4x4 Crew Max SR, the Crew Max SR Long Bed, the Crewmax Limited, the Crewmax Limited Long Bed, the Crewmax Platinum, and the Platinum Long Bed. The 4x4 Crew Max SR Long Bed and the Platinum Long Bed are identical in size. They have the same width and length. Although many variations exist, they all share important features like Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 and Toyota's Star Safety System. If you want the ultimate Toyota Tundra Crewmax, you'll need a 4x4 Platinum or a 4x4 Platinum Long Bed.
