Toyota is Preparing a Rav4 Worthy of a Science Fiction Movie

The season of major auto shows is approaching, and Toyota has decided to unveil an unusual concept that will be showcased in Tokyo in the coming weeks.

The concept presented by the Japanese manufacturer is based on the Rav4, making it even more intriguing since this model is typically popular yet quite ordinary in everyday life.

This time, Toyota aimed to offer something different by emphasizing the darker side of the Rav4 while highlighting its performance. The concept draws inspiration from science fiction.

A Dark and Striking Look

Toyota opted for a highly eye-catching finish with a very dark matte gray paint and turquoise accents both inside and out. The model\'s grille is particularly unique as it features a QR code. The concept\'s body has been redesigned with a more aggressive bumper and wider fenders.

It\'s hard to say exactly where Toyota is headed with this concept for now. A production version resembling this concept is unlikely to be offered in the foreseeable future. However, it’s safe to bet that the Japanese manufacturer has a few more surprises up its sleeve and that the concept will make more sense when it’s fully unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show.

A Second Concept

The futuristic Rav4 isn’t the only model to be presented in Tokyo, as the manufacturer has also prepared another Rav4 concept focused on adventure and off-road driving. While less visually spectacular, this second concept could certainly inspire a new model to join the Rav4 lineup. Vehicles with enhanced off-road capabilities have been growing in popularity in recent years.

In any case, I am particularly eager for the opening of the Tokyo Auto Show to discover these two Toyota concepts.
